We
need a wax model for each small sculpture and for the many cast details
which are part of our larger works. Waxes are made by pouring molten
wax into rubber molds that are made from our original models which are
usually made from clay or wood.
Waxes waiting to be prepared for vacuum or shell casting.
Clay originals for small sculptures.
Rubber molds with plaster or
wood mother molds to help hold their shape when hot wax is poured in.
Wax sticks which will be vacuum cast
and made into teapot handles.
